Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

What we have

Born out of a unique partnership between a film exhibitor and a film production company, NLFF is now firmly established as the premiere film festival of the North East of England. It has captivated growing audiences for the films it showcases and has won major international film prizes for the films it has produced.

Tyneside Cinema have launched evolve, a new volunteering scheme which will engage 120 young volunteers (aged 16-25) who will work on projects at the cinema and on two exciting international festivals.

We require volunteers

We are looking for exceptional young people to make an important contribution to three of the region’s key cultural events, Northern Lights Film Festival, AV Festival and the re-opening programme of Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle.

The first activity on the programme is with Northern Lights Film Festival 2007, from the beginning of November until mid-December.

These opportunities are suitable for young people between the ages of 16-25. You’ll need to be well organised and enthusiastic for working in the arts.
