Well the festival is in full swing - we hope you're enjoying the programme....

Still some great films for you to see including the Music Night tomorrow which includes The Wrecking Crew - a very moving personal film made by the son of Tommy Tedesco in his honour. Tommy was one of the original 60s & 70s session guitarists and a lead figure in the iconic band. Following this you can watch a music doc about punk poet Patti Smith and her life over the last eleven years as she gets her career back on track.
Completing the line up is one of our favourite films of the festival - Slingshot Hip Hop - from Palestine. It's an energetic and uplifting film that weaves live music with interviews and animation to tell the tale of young people using voices instead of guns in this war zone to make their point.
Don't forget Friday night is Horror night where I shall be in the front row, equipped with obligatory pillow to hide behind!
