Another chance to see the runaway audience favourite of the 2004 festival. Josef Fares’ (Zozo) slick and very silly comedy is a laugh-out-loud treat. It follows small town police officer Benny, who spends his time drinking coffee, eating sausage waffles and chasing down stray cows because of a lack of crime.

But when the Swedish authorities threaten to close the station, Benny and his cop colleagues realise the only way to keep their jobs is to raise the crime statistics by any means necessary….

Criminally, Kops was never distributed in the UK, and the touted US remake (starring Adam Sandler) is still in ‘development’. Don’t miss this one (it could be your last chance!), Kops is a rare comic gem.
