The Big Pitch 2008

Are you a moviemaker with a great idea itching to make a full-length feature film? If so, we could change your life as The Big Pitch comes to the festival in 2008!

Northern Lights Film Festival and Culture10 are proud to provide Moxie Makers with a platform to launch the most dynamic feature film pitching competition and the largest film production prize in the UK.

Moxie Makers is a new micro studio, created in the North East, with the express purpose of making low budget features with the most exciting new filmmaking talent emerging within the UK.

Successful entrants to The Big Pitch will receive training and support in developing their feature film ideas, and then they will be asked to sell their idea before a live audience at NLFF 2008 as they compete for a production deal worth up to £250,000!

The winning filmmaker will receive financing for their film’s production, guaranteed UK cinema distribution, international sales representation, and their film will also receive its Gala Premiere as part of NLFF 2009.
