Minna and Fariba are flatmates, friends, mothers, heroin addicts and prostitutes who make their living working in Iran. Meeting their clients on the streets, accompanied by their young children, childcare is dealt with practically as they go about their business: one customer will look after the children whilst Minna and Fariba have sex with another in the next room.

At great personal risk, Nahid Persson gains astonishing access to the lives of these two young women.
