Dancehall Queen 15

Sunday 19th November, 1.30pm (T)

Directors: Don Letts & Rick Elgood, Feature, 98 minutes, UK & Jamaica, 1997.

Dancehall Queen is the story of Marcia, who as the main breadwinner for her family works as a vendor on the gritty streets of Kingston, Jamaica. To make ends meet she starts performing in the dancehalls of her hometown, and so begins this modern-day Cinderella story with scintillating sights and pulsing reggae beats. Not to be missed!
