Do you have a feature film that you want to get made? The Northern Lights Film Festival Industry summit The Big Pitch is your chance to meet the people who could take your feature film project to the next level.
What are we looking for?
Feature length projects that can be made for under £1million. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to pitch their projects to an expert panel including Warp X, UKFC and Fox Searchlight (tbc), in front of industry delegates. The winning pitch will win £1k and the Northern Lights Film Festival Pitch Award!
How do I apply?
Please complete the submission form (.pdf) and send it back to us by 5pm on the 16th October 2006 along with:
- Project Title
- 50 word synopsis
- A 5-8 page treatment (your script must be completed to apply)
- Logline
- Status of project
- List of materials available
- All representative contact details
- Your showreel
- Your C.V.
Who can enter?
Any UK based producer or director with a good script.
What sort of films can I pitch?
Any feature length film that can be made for under £1million.
How does it work?
The Northern Lights Film Summit Feature Film pitch is a fantastic opportunity to pitch your project to a panel of industry movers and shakers. Submit your project to the festival office by 5pm on 16th October 2006. The short list will receive:
- An all expenses paid trip to Newcastle in November and the opportunity to meet with some of the leading film industry professionals from financiers to sales agents and distributors.
- Individual Mentoring sessions from our panel of leading experts, on arrival in Newcastle, on Friday 17th November.
- The chance to pitch your project live to a panel of decision makers in front of an audience of industry delegates.
