A coming-of-age comedy drama with heart, soul and rock ‘n’ roll! It’s the 1960s in Vittula in Northern Sweden, right on the Finnish border. Life is simple and men aren’t meant to be interested in anything but getting married, having kids, providing for the family and hard drinking. School students Matti and Niili are learning the ropes of manhood by chopping wood, hanging out, discovering girls and planning their escape from a town in the middle of nowhere.

Suddenly, a new music teacher from the south of Sweden moves to town and he’s like no-one they’ve ever met, with passion about the world outside of Vittula and the new rock music that’s sweeping the world. Funny, dark and with a cracking soundtrack. Don’t miss it!
