NORTHERN LIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL INDUSTRY SUMMIT

Friday 18th and Saturday 19th November
Tyneside Cinema, Pilgrim Street, Newcastle

After the success of last year’s NLFF summit we’re again hosting an industry event for the film community to meet, learn and network with producers, directors and exhibitors from as far flung as the US, the UK and Denmark.

As a delegate you’ll have the opportunity to meet with a host of different film people from film financiers like AV Pictures and Great British Films and funding agencies like Northern Film and Media and the UKFC New Cinema Fund. You’ll meet producers from Zentropa, Ipso Facto Films and Revolution Films and distributors from Verve Pictures, Icon, Redbus and Soda Pictures. We’ve even representatives from film and literary agency Curtis Brown and Channel Four.

The summit takes place over the opening weekend of the festival on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th November and will include case studies that explore low-budget feature filmmaking and look at the Billy Elliot phenomenon along with a live pitching competition as hopefuls try to persuade a panel of experts that their film idea deserves to win £5,000! You’ll also have the opportunity to meet with our experts face to face in a speed meeting session – so get your questions at the ready!

As a delegate you’ll even get a 10% discount on drinks at our festival bar – The Living Room, on Grey Street, Newcastle, over the summit weekend, you’ll be fed on Friday evening and Saturday lunchtime, you’ll get discounts on all festival screenings and you’ll even have free entry into our exclusive late night parties on Friday and Saturday nights!

Places are limited so book your delegate pass NOW to ensure you have a pass to one of the most sought after film events of the year. See the panel on the right for delegate pass information and how to buy one.
