Naseema is a young Muslim girl keen to make something of her life. Taking a job in the local DIY store she meets Adam, a white lad whose racism is nurtured by that of his family and friends. Despite their differences the pair are incapable of ignoring their mutual attraction to each other and embark on a secret liaison that threatens the discrimination and mistrust their friends and family abide by.

Following on from his success as the director of TV dramas Nice Girl and Out of Control, Dominic Savage makes a startling feature film directorial debut in this striking, passionate and poignant film about love and the shackles of prejudice in modern Britain.
