Facilities for Disabled People

Tyneside Cinema
Mobility We recognise that parts of our cinema are disabling to some customers and we are committed to addressing access issues as soon as possible. Meanwhile please note that The Classic is accessible to wheelchair users via a ramp and has an accessible toilet facility. Drinks and snacks are available on this level from Cinema Staff and Intermezzo Café. Occasionally it is necessary for us to alter the programme at short notice. If you require The Classic’s access facilities, we recommend that you check with us on the same day that the film you wish to see is screening there prior to setting off.
Sound There is a Hearing Loop System in The Classic.

University of Teesside
Kino at University of Teesside is a fully accessible facility. There is disabled access available including a lift and large area in the cinema for wheelchair users - please call for further details (number below).
