UK and Estonian directors go head to head to win the
Tyne v Tallinn Digital Film Challenge!
Three Tyneside-based directors armed with scripts travel to Tallinn, Estonia and, in the space of twelve days make three short digital drama films. All production resources, crew, post-production, actors and production company, are drawn from Tallinn. The process is then repeated with three Estonian directors in Newcastle/Gateshead.
These six digital films will unite the film making talent of Newcastle/Gateshead and Tallinn, forming the cornerstone of a highly innovative digital film project between the two cities.
The short films will be screened as part of the Gala show at the end of the Northern lights Film Festival where YOU can vote which film will win the ultimate prize.
Your nominees are:
Lovesick by Patrick Collerton (UK)
The Shoe Tree by Ian Cottage (UK)
